Welcome to my website. My name is Tomasz and before Cocotec was founded I was working as an IT engineer for many different IT companies in Poland and England. Since my IT studies I have gained valuable experience and decided to start my own business. How long it takes to repair my laptop?
Most repairs and upgrades can be done on the same day. If parts needs t obe ordered this usually takes 2-3 working days to deliver. You will be informed if the job is expected to take longer.
How much it will cost me for repair?
You will be quoted before any repair is carried out. No hidden costs.
Below is an example of our most common repair prices:
- LCD LED screen repair — from £80 allin
- Power socket repair — only £65 allin
- Virus removal — only £60 allin
- Data recovery — from £50 to £100 allin
- Windows installation with data backup — only £60 allin
Do I pay before or after repair is done?
When a repair is done you can pay cash or mobile banking on collection.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. All work is guaranteed both software and hardware repairs. However warranty doesn't cover physical, liquid or any other damage where user is at fault.
What areas do you cover?
There is a collection and return service for customers living close to Acocks Green for £10 charge. Customers from other areas will have to bring their computer.

Do you buy or sell laptops?
We do not buy used or faulty laptops. However we have a second hand laptops for sale which can be customized to your needs.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
There is a minimum charge of £20 diagnostic fee. But you will be pleased to know that this fee isn't added to the final cost if you choose to go ahead with the repair.
